If your clothes are still wet after a dry cycle, there are a few things to check:
Make sure that the set programme is suitable for the type of laundry load. Check the programme table in the instructions booklet to select the appropriate one.
Check the filters. Dirty filters affect the efficiency of your dryer. It is important to clean the filters at the end of each drying cycle as indicated in the instructions booklet.
Check that the machine has been correctly installed; lack of air circulation affects drying results.
In addition, extremely wet laundry can affect the performance of the dryer. Before loading your laundry into the dryer, it is recommended to run a spin cycle at >800-1000 rpm or run an additional spin cycle after washing. Sopping wet clothes are more difficult to dry.
If the load is too small (a single garment) or if it includes mixed items (cotton and synthetic materials) it is advisable to use a timed programme to ensure all items are dry.
Check out this complete guide to drying times to avoid your dryer not drying your clothes.
If your Candy dryer isn’t producing any heat and your clothes are still coming out wet, there could be a problem with the heater.
If the drum does not rotate after loading the dryer and pressing START, check that the door has been closed correctly. If the door is closed and the problem continues, switch off the machine and unplug for 1 minute. Plug it back in, select the cycle and press START.
